In 1968 Laney launched the phenomenal Supergroup range of amplifiers, and before long gained popularity amongst many musicians on the musically-fertile local gigging circuits - home to bands such as Led Zeppelin and the up-and-coming Black Sabbath, to name but two.
These amplifiers were like nothing ever seen before, producing tones that would help shape the emerging heavy rock scene, and remain relevant even to this day!
